There is a powerful spiritual awakening occurring in our world today. We see it all around us. It takes many different forms, some traditional, some non-traditional. The essence is a rebirth – a spiritual rebirth – that allows us to connect more deeply with who we are as souls here in this world. Part of our spiritual experience, our souls’ journey may be connecting with others – learning, sharing, growing, laughing, crying, engaging, listening, allowing.
As a community we have the possibility of changing our world – the world we live in day to day, our community, our country, our planet. It is an evolutionary change – a spiritual growth that takes so many different forms – in the end healing ourselves and our world so our lives are lived full out – experiencing all there is to experience – and always with love.
An ocean liner is a huge ship. It has a “trim tab” which is a kite-like device that floats above the rudder. Moving the trim tab changes the direction of the ocean liner. This seeming small and apparently effortless movement makes a huge impact on the direction of this large ship.
Our community can be likened to this “trim tab.” Small changes in our own personal directions, small alterations, healings, can make huge impacts in the world we live in.
We are not a membership community. People come for breakfast as the spirit moves (or the alarm clock signals). We are healers, public speakers, coaches, consultants, mothers, fathers, motor cycle enthusiasts, alternative therapists, teachers, corporate executives, husbands, wives, daughters, sons, publishers, web designers, programmers, interior decorators – to name just a few.
The common thread is love – love of our world, our communities, our families and friends, love for each other. Bringing a spiritual intention and focus into all areas of our lives. Our breakfast is a very special time for all of us. It is our monthly hug, our monthly connection with new and old friends.
Our intention at The Breakfast with Friends is your intention. Whatever draws you to our breakfast is perfect. Whatever you bring, whatever you take away, is perfect.
